In continuation with the previous published books, the “Comprehensive Human Laboratory Immunology” 2025 and “The Immuno-dermal Assays Illustrated 2025, that covered the experimental aspects of microbial immunology. The present book “Microbial Immunology “presents the basic and applied aspects of theoretical microbial immunology. The text covers: basic immunology, basic immunology of human viral, bacterial, fungal and protozoal infetions, immunology of common human microbial infections, immunology of emerging and re-emerging human microbial infections and three themes: the immunology of polymicrobial infections, immunology of infectious granuloma and immunology of secondary cryoglobulinemia. The text tackles subjects in rather simple language and presents information in depth. The book is intended to be of use for; undergraduate, postgraduate and researchers in immunology and for students as well as researchers of laboratory medicine.
