Abstract
The prime focus of this book is to make understand the basic pathology in the form of gross and microscopic findings in pathological and medicolegal autopsy cases. How these findings make sense when coupled with sound knowledge of pathogenesis was discussed in depth. A comprehensive review of all the factors that affect the pathological findings has been enumerated in detail. This book depicts the pathological spectrum of four major organ system in the form of various gross and histopathological pictures of diseases with their key points. A significant part of the book is about the ancient forensic practice in India. Book was written for a lucid and crisp understanding of the subject, excellent for the orientation. All the essential points of the book have been given followed by the examination questions. It will be a hand book for the postgraduate students of pathology, forensic medicine and for the students of Agad Tnatra from the Ayurvedic stream.
